Tidy Tree for Confluence
Sort Confluence page trees A→Z (with real number order), by date, or your own pins — and keep them sorted as pages are added.
Confluence Cloud keeps child pages in the order they were created, and sorting them means dragging pages one by one. Tidy Tree sorts a page tree in one click and keeps it that way.
What you get
- Sort orders: title A→Z or Z→A with natural number order (Chapter 2 before Chapter 10, v1.9 before v1.10, and correct alphabetical order in every language), oldest first, newest first, recently updated first.
- Preview the current and the new order, and how many pages will move, before anything changes.
- Fewest moves: pages already in the right order stay put. A new page means one move.
- Undo: the order before each run is saved and can be restored.
- Keep sorted: new, moved, renamed and restored pages are put in place within about half a minute, and a daily check catches the rest.
- Depth: sort just the children, or down to five levels.
- Pin pages to the top or bottom, put folders first, ignore leading numbers or tags such as "01." when sorting.
- Large trees: up to 2,000 children per page.
- Who can use it: Confluence admins for every space, space admins for their own space (admins can turn this off), and "Sort child pages" in a page's ••• menu.
Runs on Atlassian
Built on Atlassian Forge. Rules and run history are stored in your Atlassian cloud; page content is never read or stored, and nothing is sent anywhere else.
