Does it work on the new Jira dashboards?

Yes. The app provides a widget for the new dashboards and a gadget for classic dashboards. Both show the same notices.

Who can post notices?

Jira admins, and the people in the notice editor groups a Jira admin picks. The check happens on the server on every action.

Can I add images?

Yes, up to 3 per notice. They are uploaded into the app and stored in your Atlassian cloud, so they work without any public image hosting.

Can I undo a change?

Each save keeps the version before it (the last 5). Open the notice, choose Show earlier versions and load one into the editor, then save.

Can a notice be shown only to some people?

Yes: choose one or more Jira groups. People outside them never receive the notice. Channels then let each dashboard show only the topics that matter there.

Can people close a notice?

If you allow it. You can also make a closed notice come back after a number of days, or make urgent notices impossible to close.

What do visitors of public dashboards see?

Notices meant for everyone. Their closed notices are remembered only in their own browser.

Which languages does the widget speak?

Dates, times and fixed words follow each viewer's Jira language. Notice text is what you write.

Does the app send data outside Atlassian?

No. See Privacy and Security.

What happens if the subscription ends?

Notices stop showing and can't be published until it's renewed. Nothing is deleted.
